Accelerated Reading Program
Accelerated Reading Program Accelerated Reader (AR) is reading management software. AR helps you focus attention on careful reading of books, which improves students' critical-thinking skills and builds an intrinsic love of reading. Simply put; here is how it works:
St. Viator uses the Enterprise On-line Version of the AR Program. Students can read a book from our school library, the public library or books from home that are included in the AR Program. To check if a book has an AR Quiz associated with it, use the following link www.arbookfind.com. If you are looking for books in your child's reading range, please select the advanced tab at the arbookfind site and enter the reading range in ATOS Book Level (for example ATOS: 2.5 through 3.5). Once your student has finished reading an AR book, the student can take the associated quiz in their classroom. AR Program ⇒ Reading SUCCESS |

The More You Know Teaching kids to read and helping those who struggle is the goal of Reading Rockets.
