Monica Diaz serves as the School Guidance Counselor at Saint Viator School and is honored to be part of a faith-filled campus community where students are nurtured academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our counseling program is rooted in partnership—with students, families, and faculty—working together to support the growth and well-being of each child.
Counseling services are offered through individual student sessions, as well as schoolwide social-emotional learning using the Friendzy curriculum. This includes classroom support and direct lessons across all grade levels. Mediation sessions are also available to support restorative practices and promote healthy, respectful communication among students. Beyond the school day, students and families are invited to participate in the Sole Mates Community walking group, which meets weekly to encourage connection, movement, and overall wellness. At the heart of our counseling program is the belief that children thrive in a caring community grounded in faith, trust, and shared responsibility. By walking alongside students and families with grace and intention, we strive to support the whole child and help cultivate a school environment where love, respect, and faith guide daily interactions. |
