JUNIOR HIGH RELIGION
Welcome to 7B. I began my career at St. Viator in 1981 and came to Junior High as the Religion teacher in 1999. I am looking forward to partnering with you and your children as a guide on their faith journey.
The Junior High Student works on a prayer booklet each year. See grade level pages for more specific assignments.
Remember, posted work is of daily assignments, not necessarily homework. However, if the work could not be completed in class, it can be finished at home.
We are starting the school year with the following text books. Sixth grades' book is CHURCH. Seventh grades' book is JESUS, and eighth grades' book is CHURCH HISTORY. Please remind your student to cover them in clear plastic and to take good care of them.
National Junior Honor Society
Joy Davies is the faculty advisor for NJHS. This group meets every other Tuesday morning at 7:15 in 7B, starting August 31. We are a service organization that promotes the school mission of developing the whole student spiritually, ethically, academically and physically. Some of our projects will help benefit the St. Theresa Center of Henderson through "Tricks -4- Treats", and the "Fresh and Green" School of Ethiopia through our Valentine grams. Please watch the calendar for these and other worthwhile service projects. Thank you in advance for your support. This years officers are:
